Come join us at Riverside Inn for one of our sponsored scrapbooking/crafting retreats or customize one of your own. We host three crafting retreats per year (January, March, and November).  

Our enjoyable and relaxing crafting retreats give you a welcome break from the distractions of home and work, surround you with kindred spirits, and enable you to finally finish your project.

Riverside Inn’s spacious and well-equipped event center is a great place to get away and spend quality time scrapbooking, quilting, or crafting with family and friends.

We also offer a cozy bed-and-breakfast type atmosphere with 30 uniquely themed rooms. Plus, we have an indoor heated pool and spa, an expanded complimentary breakfast, high-speed internet, a comfortable fireside lobby, and a warm and welcoming staff that specialize in friendliness and personalized service.

Just Far Enough To Get Away

Riverside Inn is conveniently located on State Highway 23 in Cold Spring, only 13 miles west of St. Cloud and about 80 miles northwest of the Twin Cities. 

Our location is a short drive to quilt, crafting, and scrapbooking shops, such as Craft’s Direct and Gruber’s Quilt Shop, as well as many restaurants, bakeries, shopping malls, movie theaters, and more. Need recommendations? We’re happy to help!

What We Provide

Unless another arrangement is requested, we’ll provide each scrapbooker or quilter with their own separate work station.

• We provide one five-foot-long table per person (additional tables available upon request).
• Irons and ironing boards available in the quilting area.
• We have a limited number of high intensity lamps (OttLites), but if you have your own lamp we suggest you bring it, along with an extension cord.
• Cutting tables, mats, and quilt display wall are also available.​

What You Should Bring

Get ready to relax and have some fun - all you need are your supplies and personal items.​

• Scrapbooking, quilting, or other craft supplies
• Completed scrapbooks and quilts for display

How to Register

In order to avoid an overcrowded facility and to ensure that each participant has enough space to work on their projects, registration for our retreats are limited to the first 32 entries per weekend.​
